Strong piece. The core issue with fluoridation is equity. Those with resources will always find access to fluoride through dental products and care. It is children, low-income families, and marginalized groups who benefit most from community water fluoridation. Removing it without robust alternatives widens disparities and turns a solvable disease into another marker of inequality.

Thank you for leaving a comment. CWF mirrors other chronic diseases exacerbated by determinants of health. Completely agree that people with resources who want CWF dismantled are not the ones who will be affected by it.

I also reviewed your piece on "Is fluoride in drinking water dangerous? Here is what the science shows." It is an excellent summarization of available evidence that takes down the persisting false myths that CWF is dangerous.
